Some Cary services and operations will be adjusted this week in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. Curbside collection will be delayed by one day for households that receive collection on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for the week of November 11. Veterans will have the opportunity to file new claims with the VA, receive answers to questions about VA appeals, benefits, and healthcare. Veterans and their dependents will be supported by a team that includes Veterans’ Benefits and Health Administrators, Vet Center staff, and Veterans’ Service Officers. Attendees will receive in-person explanations and assistance in facilitating and expediting existing claims and appeals, filing new claims, and submitting all claims-related evidence for processing. Information on VA benefit programs and the latest updates on the PACT Act will also be provided.
