The paintings in “Liquid, Stilled” celebrate color, organic movement, inorganic stasis, and objects left behind. They are primarily abstracts based on natural or human-made scenes and forms. Some incorporate found objects (rusted metal, wood, shells, stones), inviting the viewer to contemplate the singularity of the humble and mundane.
