Some Cary services and operations will be adjusted this week in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. Curbside collection will be delayed by one day for households that receive collection on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, for the week of November 11. Take A Child Outside is an international program encouraging children and adults to spend time together outdoors. It first began in North Carolina and has since spread across the nation and other countries. It is a week-long event with the goal of helping children develop a better understanding and appreciation of the environment and an enthusiasm for exploring the natural world.
