Alejandro Cerrudo, artistic director of Charlotte Ballet, brings his international expertise from Madrid to Stuttgart Ballet to the Queen City. Gerri Houlihan, an ADF faculty legend since 1981 and former Dean, debuts a new creation from her decades of artistic wisdom. Norberto "Betto" Herrera channels his Ecuadorian roots and Afro-Latin mastery—the founder of Mambo Dinamico brings rhythm and soul to the stage. Tanu Sharma weaves her Indian heritage into contemporary movement, creating powerful cross-cultural works that have graced stages from the Carolina Theatre to fundraising galas. This accomplished choreographer and educator has spent years bridging traditional and modern dance forms throughout the Triangle.  Four artists. Four world premieres.
