Catching Some Rays: The Music of Ray Charles

This concert explores the diversity through song and narrative anecdotes, weaving its way through Ray Charles’ life, music and how he became the father of soul music. Pianist NOEL FREIDLINE and vocalist MARIA HOWELL define chemistry, musically breathing as one, communicating on stage almost telepathically as they explore and re-interpret some of Ray Charles’ best songs.
