Fest in the West is Western Cary’s family festival, bringing the community together for a day of fun, entertainment, and hands-on activities for all ages.

Enjoy two performance stages featuring local dance and music groups, meet friendly animals in the free petting zoo—including llamas, a potbelly pig, bunnies, and more—and watch the excitement of roaming performers like a stilt walker and Hoop Jam. Kids can tackle the obstacle course bounce house, explore remote-controlled racing in the STEAM area, create their own masterpieces with drop-in artmaking, and enjoy athletic demonstrations and stagecoach “calf-roping.” New this year, the Teen Scene offers a dedicated space for ages 11–18 to hang out with peers and compete in games.

Families can snap photos at the interactive selfie wall, challenge each other with big field games, and visit a variety of family-focused booths.
