Exhibition on view Wednesday, January 2–Thursday, February 28
Artist Reception: Friday, February 1| 6-8 p.m.
Medium: Sculpture/Mixed Media
A patina is a thin layer of color that develops on metal after it is exposed to heat, air and/or acids over time. The artist uses copper, brass, tin and steel, and explores a variety of old and new techniques to emulate that exposure. What would you rather be: the shiny new unblemished metal or the tarnished and beautifully aged one with character?
