Cary, NC – Town Hall and most staffed facilities will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Curbside collections will be delayed by one day for the week of January 20, and the Citizen’s Convenience Center will be closed. GoCary will operate at Sunday service levels, with Door to Door being Tier 1 only. Cary 311 will be closed for calls on January 20; citizens can submit non-emergency requests online 24/7 at carync.gov/311 or by email to 311@carync.gov.
Like other Cary parks, Downtown Cary Park remains open daily, as well as Downtown Cary Park Guest Services, The Bark Bar, and Market 317. Cary Action Sports, The Cary Theater, Stevens Nature Center, and all Cary Community Centers will be closed January 20. Cary Tennis Park and Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve will be open during regular hours of operation.
All Cary citizens are invited to the Town’s annual Dreamfest weekend events, a celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 17-20. Most events are free and available to the public. Descriptions and details are available at carync.gov/dreamfest.
