- The annual Cary Jaycees Christmas Parade returns to downtown Cary on Saturday, December 13, at 2 p.m. for its 46th year.
- The parade will follow its traditional route, starting west on E. Chatham Street from Ward Street, and will proceed down E. Chatham to turn left onto S. Academy Street, and will end at Dry Avenue in front of the Cary Arts Center.
- In support of the Christmas Parade on December 13, the parade route and several adjacent streets and intersections will be closed from approximately 1-5 p.m.
Cary, NC - The Cary Jaycees Christmas Parade is back! Enjoy 100+ floats packed with steppers, skippers, twirlers, dancers, local bands, and a special appearance from Santa Claus. In support of the Christmas Parade on December 13, Town of Cary will close the following streets/intersections from 1-5 p.m. :
- E. Chatham Street from the traffic circle at E. Chatham and W. Circle Drive to E. Chatham Street at Academy Street
- Academy Street from E. Chatham Street to Dry Avenue
- Cedar Street between Walker Street and Ward Street
- Ward Street
- Hunter Street
- Dry Avenue from S. Harrison Avenue to S. Academy Street
- Faculty Avenue will be closed at S. Harrison Avenue.
- E. Chatham Street at S. Harrison Avenue will also be closed to traffic.
