Cary offers two grant programs designed to support non-profit organizations in strengthening and enriching our community: The Cary Cultural Arts Grant Program and the Cary Non-Profit General Services Grant Program, listed below. Please review both options to determine which best aligns with your organization's mission and services. 

Cary Non-Profit General Service Grant Program

General funding assistance is made available through Cary's Town Funding of General Non-Profits.

Important Dates for FY27 (July 2026 - June 2027)

December 8, 2025: Cary's funding application period opens.
February 2, 2026: Cary funding applications are due by 11:59 p.m.
March/April 2026: Town selected staff will make recommendations for awarding FY27 funding to applicant non-profit organizations.
June 2026: Funding recommendations will be communicated and considered by council as part of the FY27 budget.
Early July 2026: Approved funding will be communicated to grant recipients.
August 2026: Funding will be available to grant recipients.
