The Town of Cary will not ask for permit or application payments via wire transfer to a bank account. If you receive a request appearing to be from Cary that instructs or requests you submit payment this way, or in any other way you find suspicious, contact staff to verify it. The Town of Cary accepts payments through Click2gov https://cary-egov.aspgov.com/Click2GovBP/index.html and phone by dialing 3-1-1 or (919) 469-4000 if outside of Cary Town Limits, and by check mailed to Town Hall or presented in person.  Call the staff directly if you have any questions about a payment request before making a payment.
