Description: The applicant proposes a comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning of eight properties located at 4645 and 4801 Louis Stephen Drive, 0, 1600, 1601, 1604, 1607, and 1609 Morrisville Carpenter Road. The comprehensive plan amendment proposes to amend the Carpenter Special Planning Area of the Imagine Cary Community Plan. The properties are proposed to be rezoned from Residential-40 (R-40) to Planned Development District Major (PDD Major) with Jordan Lake Watershed Protection Overlay District to remain. The applicant wishes to rezone to allow for a planned community with up to 20,000 square feet of non-residential development, up to 200 multi family dwelling units, up to 70 detached dwelling units, and up to 50 townhouse units with plans for the potential relocation of historic structures to another location within the existing.
