Host your own neighborhood, park, greenway or roadway litter sweep in Cary any day of the week, year round, during daylight hours. Great for all ages and most group sizes.
Supplies provided for litter sweeps include:
- Orange Spruce safety vest
- Gloves - you are welcome to provide your own
- Litter Grabbers
- Orange/Blue Trash Bag
- Spruce patches and stickers available upon request and while supplies last
When scheduling and/or requesting supplies please be prepared with your date, time and anticipated number of volunteers. If you have a location in mind that is helpful too. If not, we can suggest one with consideration of your group size and age range.
While most locations in Cary are open for litter sweeps, several locations do not allow for litter sweeps or manage their own volunteers. These include Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve and Downtown Cary Park. Reach out to these locations directly for volunteer inquiries.
