Project Background

Cary has an outstanding Cross Country Course at WakeMed Soccer Park. However, we knew that at some point, Trinity Road would be extended through the start-finish area of the existing course and that the course would have to be modified or relocated.

Cary has been exploring other properties that we own. The goal would be to still host state-wide and regional events along with allowing the average citizen looking for a place to run or walk on a soft surface trail to use.

A 2K course could remain at WakeMed Soccer Park but would require utilizing some sidewalks to make the connection.
