Projects completed by the Town are identified and reviewed in the Town's Capital Improvement Budget (CIB) and Twenty Year Plan (CIP).
As funding is allocated, the first step in the development of capital projects lies in the form of strategic plans. The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources System Plan is part of the ENGAGE chapter of the Cary Community Plan. Both the Cary Community Plan and the PRCR System Plan had extensive participation by Town of Cary community groups as well as the public at large.
