High House Rd at Bond Park/Weston Parkway at Evans Road

Fall 2025 Update:

The project is currently under construction and expected completion is Fall of 2026. 

High House Road at Bond Park

This is a project to signalize the intersection. Some of the features will include hi-visibility crosswalks, traffic camera, and improving safety at this intersection as well as Maury O'Dell Place.  

Update: Metal traffic signal poles are on order and scheduled delivery is June of 2026. Concrete pedestrian ramps have been installed along with repair of several sections of sidewalk. 

Maury O'Dell Place

Construct a concrete island at the High House Road intersection to deter left turns out of Maury O'Dell Place and incentivize those movements to be made at the newly signalized intersection at Bond Park Drive. 

Weston Parkway at Evans Road

This project will add pedestrians signals and crosswalks to all intersection quadrants, upgrade all curb ramps to meet current ADA standards, and resurface the entire intersection to address deteriorating asphalt
conditions.

Update:

Three (3) of the four (4) pedestrian refuge islands are constructed. The fourth will be constructed once pedestrian equipment have been installed. Pedestrian signal equipment tentatively scheduled for installation during the month of November. Repaving of the intersection during Spring of 2026.
