About Cary PRCR
Cary Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources offers 85 miles of greenways and an expansive network of more than 3,000 acres of parks and open space. With recreation, arts, culture, sports, and entertainment venues, Cary combines world class facilities with innovative recreational and arts programs.

Recreation Made Easy With RecTrac
At Cary Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources (PRCR), we're committed to making it easier than ever to enjoy everything our community has to offer. That's why we moved to RecTrac, our modern online registration system, and after two years of experience with it, we couldn't be more pleased with how well it serves our residents.
Whether you're signing up for a fitness class, registering your child for a summer camp, booking a facility for your next event, or purchasing a pass for ongoing access, RecTrac puts everything in one convenient place, available anytime, anywhere.
Getting started is simple. Create your free account at carync.gov/programs and start exploring the hundreds of recreation, wellness, and cultural opportunities Cary has to offer. If you already have an account, just log in and pick up right where you left off.
We're proud to offer a seamless experience that reflects our ongoing commitment to serving Cary residents, as great recreation starts with great access.
Additionally, Cary PRCR was recognized at the National Recreation and Park Association conference on September 17, 2025, for earning national accreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). Having maintained this accreditation, since 2003 assures the community that PRCR provides safe, effective, and innovative services. Cary was the first CAPRA accredited agency in North Carolina and is one of 14 accredited agencies in the state.
