Cary offers two grant programs designed to support non-profit organizations in strengthening and enriching our community: The Cary Non-Profit General Services Grant Program and the Cary Cultural Arts Grant Program listed below. Please review both options to determine which best aligns with your organization's mission and services.
Cary Cultural Arts Grant Program
General Funding assistance is made available through Cary's Policy for Support and Sponsorship of Cultural Groups and Activities.
Cultural Arts Funding Information Sessions
Cultural Arts staff will present virtual informational sessions in December. The sessions will include information about the grant guidelines and application with time for questions. Attendance at one of the sessions is strongly recommended for any organizations new to the Cary grants process and for those seeking a refresher on the process.

- Thursday, December 11 | 6-7:30 p.m.

Important Dates for FY27 (July 2026 - June 27)
December 8, 2025: Cary funding application period opens.
December 9, 2025 (6-7:30 p.m.) and December 11, 2025 (6-7:30 p.m.): Cultural Arts Funding Information Sessions
February 2, 2026: Cary funding applications are due by 11:59 p.m.
March 2026: Cultural Arts Committee will make recommendations for awarding FY27 funding to applicant cultural organizations.
June 2026: Funding recommendations will be communicated and considered by council as part of the FY27 budget.
Early July 2026: Approved funding will be available to cultural arts grant recipients.
August 3, 2026: FY26 Grant Report form is due. Funding available to grant recipients.
