Cary's Black History Bicycle Tour
This self-guided tour invites you to explore a collection of historic landmarks that celebrate the rich diversity of the people and places that have shaped our town.
Snow Cones at Bond Park
Residents are encouraged to ride to the boathouse at Bond Park, where bicyclists who arrive by bike can receive a free snow cone during the event.

April 25: Spring Daze
Visit the greenway booth at Spring Daze to learn more about local biking and greenway opportunities. Enjoy bike valet parking provided by the Cary Teen Council, try out bike-on-bus demonstrations with GoCary, and stop by a pop-up bike maintenance station hosted by Trek Cary.

May 1: Bikes, Bands and Boats with a Bike Parade
Head to the Bond Park Boathouse from 5:30–7:30 p.m. for an evening of fun, music, and community. Kids can join a bike parade sponsored by the Cary Teen Council. Kid bike decorating is from 5:15 - 6:15 at the Buehler Shelter (decorating materials provided) and the bike parade begins at 6:30.

May 4: Pizza Ride
Join us at Trek Cary for a fun and social Pizza Ride from 6–8 p.m. Enjoy a casual group ride for 10 greenway miles including pizza and great company.

May 6: Bike to School Day
Join us for Cary’s Bike to School Day on May 6! It's a fun, healthy way to start your day, get some exercise, and help the environment. Register your school and find lots of resources to coordinate your own Bike to School day at WalkBiketoSchool.org

May 6: Cary Litter Sweep at Speight Branch Greenway
Help keep Cary clean while enjoying the outdoors! Join a Litter Sweep at Speight Branch Greenway at 6 p.m. Cary will provide all tools and supplies. Great for families and groups. All volunteers must register to participate.

May 15: Bike to Work Day
We're excited to celebrate Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 15! Leave your car behind and pedal your way to work today, visit our education page for tips on getting there safely.

May 18: Fix-a-Flat Workshop
Learn essential bike maintenance skills at this free, hands-on workshop hosted by Trek Cary from 6–7 p.m. Participants will learn how to fix a flat tire, replace a tube, and perform simple preventative maintenance. Open to all experience levels.

May 20: Cary Litter Sweep at Green Hope School Greenway

May 21: Light up the Night Ride
Join Cary On Bikes and Oaks and Spokes for a fun, social evening ride starting at 7 p.m. in Downtown Cary. The ride begins at the Cary Regional Library and includes a family-friendly 6.5-mile route, starting with a one-mile slow roll through downtown.

May 24: Dirt Church Ride
Enjoy a casual off-road group ride at Harris County Park from 8:45 a.m.–1 p.m. Connect with fellow riders while exploring local trails in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

June 6: National Trails Day
Cary proudly celebrates over 100 miles of paved greenway trails linking parks, neighborhoods, schools, shopping centers, and businesses across Cary. Whether you're on the greenways to unplug, connect with nature, or stay active, join us in this milestone celebration by participating in one of the many special activities and events, all year long.
