Special Featured Events
The curated concert series at the Cary Arts Center has been designed to celebrate the richness of Black music, culture, and community through dynamic, multi-genre performances. These events have brought audiences together for evenings that blend music, storytelling, and cultural expression—ranging from soulful tributes to classic R&B and funk, to high-energy celebrations of hip hop and Go-Go, to uplifting gospel experiences and multimedia performances exploring themes of resilience, healing, and spiritual well-being.
More than concerts, these gatherings have created spaces for connection, joy, and reflection, often incorporating community engagement through conversation, fellowship, and opportunities for service. Through thoughtful curation, the series highlights both local and regional artists while honoring the enduring legacy of Black musical traditions and their power to inspire, unite, and uplift audiences of all backgrounds.
