Interested artists should read through the Lazy Daze Artist Prospectus for details on the application requirements, jury process, and rules.  

Through ZAPPlication, artists submit four images of their work and one image of their booth display. A blind jury scores each artist based on the submitted images and artist statement. Top-scoring artists are invited to participate.

*NEW for 2026* - Live Artist Vendor Application is now in ZAPP.  Live Art Vendors include things such as face painting, fairy hair, henna, caricatures, and DIY crafts. Live Art vendors may have insurance requirements depending on their service.

Lazy Daze festivalgoers love to watch artists in action and enjoy the opportunity to try new arts and crafts! Local guilds and artisans have offered both hand-on demonstrations where participants can actively engage in the craft, and instructional demonstrations showcasing skilled techniques for observers.

Non-profit organizations with a 501(c)3 designation based in Wake County that regularly come together for purposes of promoting, providing or supporting activities for visual, literary, or performing arts for the Cary community are eligible to participate at Lazy Daze.

What the Community Cove Offers:

• Free Booth Space: Participating nonprofit organizations will receive free booth space at Lazy Daze, enabling them to reach thousands of attendees without any cost.
• Artful Engagement: In exchange for the booth space, each organization will provide an interactive arts-related activity for our event guests. These activities can range from hands-on art workshops to large-scale community art projects, art exhibitions, or interactive demonstrations that align with your nonprofit's mission.
• Community Connection: The Community Cove is designed to foster connections between nonprofit organizations, the arts, and our event attendees. It's a platform for sharing your passion for art and community service with a wider audience.
