Can’t wait to dive in? Explore the volunteer roles below to find the perfect fit!

 LD25 Booth Sitter

A great booth sitter wants to explore the festival while they volunteer, enjoys walking and discovering new artists, and is great at staying connected via text.

As a booth sitter, you’ll help our artists by giving them much-needed breaks. After checking in at volunteer headquarters and providing your cell phone number to the booth sitter dispatch, you’ll walk the festival and await a text message directing you to a booth that needs coverage. It’s a fantastic way to experience the festival while supporting our artists.

LD25 Booth Dispatch

If you enjoy coordinating and organizing tasks, are comfortable sending and receiving texts, and prefer a seated volunteer role, then you may want to consider volunteering as a booth sitter dispatcher.

Booth sitter dispatchers play a key role in supporting our artists by receiving and recording booth sitter requests from artists and then assigning requests to booth sitters via text. LD25 Entertainer Hospitality

Ready to help us roll out the red carpet for our performers? Volunteers in this role will keep the entertainment tent stocked with drinks and snacks, welcome and check in performers as they arrive, and serve as a friendly point of contact throughout the day.

You’ll assist with basic hospitality needs and help ensure our entertainers have a great festival experience.

LD25 Festival Greeter

You might be best suited to be a festival greeter if you love chatting with new people, enjoy spending time outside, and have a warm and welcoming presence.

Festival greeters are the first point of contact for many festival attendees and play an essential role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere right from the start. Responsibilities include greeting guests as they arrive at the festival, handing out booklets and maps, and answering guest questions.

LD25 Floater

A great floater can go with the flow, is happy volunteering indoors or outside, and likes staying connected via text.

Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Volunteers are late or unable to make it. Floaters step in wherever needed to make sure all volunteer shifts are covered. After checking in at volunteer headquarters and providing your cell phone number to the volunteer coordinator, you’ll get to explore the festival while awaiting a text about volunteer openings that need coverage. Join us and be the flexible, go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly.

LD25 Info Booth

You would make a fantastic information booth assistant if you love helping others find what they need, enjoy interacting with a variety of people, and thrive in a dynamic and lively environment.

As an information booth assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the festival, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience. Your responsibilities include answering guest questions and providing directions to attractions inside the festival.

LD25 Load In

The perfect load-in assistant likes being outdoors, active, and on their feet, enjoys lending a helping hand, and prefers a shift before the festival begins on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

As a load-in assistant, you’ll be a key player in helping vendors get set up for the festival. You will assist them with unloading their belongings in their booth spaces allowing them to quickly move their cars and trucks off the road, ensuring an efficient load in process for everyone. Help kickstart the festival with your energy and enthusiasm.

LD25 Load Out

Consider volunteering as a load-out assistant if you like being outdoors, active, and on your feet, enjoy lending a helping hand, and prefer a shift after the festival ends.

As a load-out assistant, you’ll help close out the festival on a high note by helping vendors load their belongings from their booth space back into their cars and trucks. Your assistance not only supports the vendors but also helps maintain the festival’s reputation for organization and efficiency, paving the way for vendors to join us at future events.

LD25 Lunch Detail

Hungry for a fun volunteer opportunity? This would be a good fit if you want to reach your step goals by the middle of the day, enjoy spending time outdoors, are organized and well oriented, and can read a map.

Lunch detail assistants ensure artists who’ve ordered boxed lunches receive their food and stay fueled throughout the festival.! Starting at volunteer headquarters, you’ll sort and label artist lunches before venturing out into the festival to deliver lunches and brighten days.

LD25 Merchandise

An amazing information/merchandise booth assistant likes being outdoors, folds T-shirts like a pro, and can chat about festival merchandise with guests.

Information/merchandise booth assistants get to help and interact with festival guests and help them find the perfect T or tote to remind them of the amazing time they had at this year’s Lazy Daze festival. You’ll be partnered with a lead volunteer who will help ring up transactions. LD25 Vendor Check In

You'd make an awesome vendor check-in assistant if you are good at giving clear directions, enjoy spending time outdoors, and prefer a shift before the festival begins on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

As a vendor check-in assistant, you’ll be one of the first faces that artists and vendors see when they arrive at the festival. You will assist staff with checking vendors in by locating their vendor packets and passing them along to the vendor check in lead volunteers. Be a part of welcoming our vendors and ensuring they have everything they need.  LD25 Vendor Hospitality Deliver

Consider volunteering as a vendor hospitality delivery assistant if you want to reach your step goals by the middle of the day, enjoy spending time outdoors, and like brightening people’s day.

Get ready to bring smiles and refreshment to our festival artists. You’ll be part of a team of four, working together to push a cart with water and an assortment of snacks for artists to choose from. Be a part of the team that keeps our vendors happy and hydrated throughout the festival. LD25 Vendor Hospitality Suite

You might want to volunteer in the vendor hospitality suite if you prefer a volunteer shift located indoors, know how to brew a tasty pot of coffee, and enjoy keeping your space tidy and organized.

Step into a role that ensures artists and vendors feel appreciated and well-cared for at the festival. As a vendor hospitality suite assistant, you’ll make sure the tables stay stocked with fresh coffee, cold water, and delicious snacks. Help make our vendor hospitality suite a highlight for vendors and volunteers alike.

LD25 Volunteer Check In

The ideal volunteer check-in assistant enjoys meeting new people and making them feel welcome, has a knack for keeping things organized and on track, and is great at staying calm and helpful in a busy environment.

As a volunteer check-in assistant, you play an important role in helping our volunteers have a seamless experience at the festival. You’ll help check in volunteers, provide directions to their assignments, and ensure everyone has what they need to succeed (T-shirt, name badge, festival map, etc.).

 LD25 Compost Compliance

Consider a Compost Compliance shift if you take pride in ensuring things are done right, enjoy engaging with food vendors, and love walking around outdoors.

Compost Compliance volunteers will work in pairs, visiting each Lazy Daze food vendor to confirm they are using approved compostable items. You will collect examples of compostable serving ware to be displayed at each waste station.   LD25 Sustainability Steward

You’d make a super Stainability Steward if environmental education is your thing, you enjoy spending time outdoors, and you want to make a positive impact on the planet.

Sustainability Stewards play a crucial role in diverting festival waste by guiding guests in recycling and composting. You’ll be stationed at one of two waste stations at Lazy Daze, each equipped with bins for trash, recycling, and compost. Your job will be to help guests choose the appropriate bin for items they are discarding using the guidelines provided.

LD25 Waste Watcher

A wonderful Waste Watcher enjoys being on the move, likes working as a team to make a difference, and loves the idea of reducing waste and helping the planet.

Waste Watchers are key players in keeping Lazy Daze green. Working in pairs, you’ll roam the festival with trash grabbers, checking Clearstream bins - the festival’s designated recycling, compost, and trash collection stations – and moving misplaced items to the correct bins. Every correct sort makes a big difference because even a little contamination in a compost bin can prevent an entire bin from being composted.
