History
The site of the Cary Arts Center has been at the center of Cary education since the 1870s when Town of Cary founder Allison Frances Page opened Cary’s first school there, Cary Academy. Later the Academy would become Cary High School. In 2010, the old school building was revitalized and repurposed to create the Cary Arts Center.
