The covered courts provide tennis, rain or shine. The building includes seven post-tension concrete tennis courts, a concourse for players to gather while waiting for their court, and two restrooms. The indirect LED lighting system provides high-quality lighting at 100 foot-candles.

Rentals 

Rentals are available to Monday-Sunday from 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.  Reservations can be made by anyone up to two days in advance and must be paid at time of reservation. Fees are per court per hour and are unchangeable and non-refundable.

Contract Time

Contract time is a pre-paid set of reservations over a six-week period of time in winter. Applications for the 2025-26 sessions opens on October 15. Acceptance for Session 1 applications closes on November 12, 2025  and acceptance for Session 2 applications closes on December 20. 

Dates:

Session 1: December 1 - January 16 (skips December 24, 25, 31, and January 1)

Session 2:  January 19 - February 27

Times: Weekday morning and weeknight options are available

Cost: Contract time must be prepaid and is non-refundable

• Non-Passholder: $54 per 1.5 hours
• Cary Tennis Park Annual Passholder: $48 per 1.5 hours

What if a group wants to split the cost? One person must apply and pay for the contract. Cost-sharing arrangements must be made among individuals in the group and are not the responsibility of CTP. CTP will not take partial payment for contract time.

How are people chosen to receive a particular contract day/time? Once registration closes we will book the contracts. If there are multiple requests for a particular day/time slot, priority will be given in the following order to these user groups: CTP Annual Passholders, Cary residents, nonresidents. Multiple requests for the same time within a user group will be selected by lottery. Past contract holders get the right of first refusal for the following contract season.

When will I know if I received contract time? Staff at Cary Tennis Park will notify patrons by Tuesday, November 17 for Session 1 or Wednesday, January 7 for Session 2 if they have received contract time and will make arrangements for payment. 

What if I do not get one of my choices? CTP Staff will call and offer any other available time or put you on a waitlist for the original times you requested.
