Cary's park system includes 19 multipurpose fields located throughout the town, varying in size and available for sports such as football, soccer, lacrosse, and more.

Some fields are leased to organizations under long-term agreements, which may limit availability during scheduled programming. When not programmed or reserved, fields are open for free play on a first-come, first-served basis. Organized groups must reserve a field before using it for organized play.

Please note that not all fields are available for reservation, and programmed activities and existing reservations always take priority over free play.

Penny Road Elementary School Park

Thomas Brooks Park

Thomas Brooks Park Both fields are reserved under long-term lease agreements, so availability for rentals and free play is limited. Teams and organized groups are required to rent space. For rental information, visit Rates and Fees.

Field 1 - Lighted artificial turf | 102 x 57 yards | Permanent soccer lines | Located on the upper level. Suitable for 11v11 play through ages 13-14; may be too small for adult 11v11 play.
Field 2 - Lighted artificial turf | 102 x 57 yards | Permanent soccer lines | Located on the lower level near the comfort station. Suitable for 11v11 play through ages 13-14; may be too small for adult 11v11 play.

Prestonwood Soccer Complex

Prestonwood Soccer Complex These two fields are managed, maintained, and programmed by North Carolina Futbol Club Youth. For rental information, call 919-834-3951. These fields are heavily programmed, so prime-time rentals and open play are very limited.

Field 1 - Non-lighted natural grass | 110 x 65 yards | First field on the left as you enter the complex.
Field 2 - Non-lighted natural grass | 110 x 65 yards | Located at the end of the drive.

Davis Drive Park

Davis Drive Park These four fields are managed, maintained, and programmed by North Carolina Futbol Club Youth. For rental information, call 919-834-3951. These fields are heavily programmed, so prime-time rentals and open play are very limited.

Field 1 - Non-lighted natural grass | 70 x 50 yards (expandable to 100 x 55 yards) | Located to the left of the comfort station.
Field 2 - Non-lighted natural grass | 65 x 45 yards (expandable to 95 x 65 yards)
Field 3 - Non-lighted natural grass | 105 x 70 yards | Routinely used for small-sided play at approximately 35 x 25 yards.
Field 4 - Non-lighted natural grass | 85 x 70 yards | Routinely used for small-sided play at approximately 35 x 25 yards.

Ed Yerha Park

Green Hope Elementary School Park

Green Hope Elementary School Park These three fields are managed, maintained, and programmed by North FC Cary. For rental information, email soccer@fccary.com. These fields are heavily programmed, so prime-time rentals and open play are very limited.

Field 1 - Non-lighted natural grass | 120 x 72 yards | Located closest to the sand volleyball courts.
Field 2 - Non-lighted natural grass | 117 x 57 yards | Located adjacent to Field 1 in the corner of the park.
Field 3 - Non-lighted natural grass | 114 x 55 yards | Located behind the school.

Middle Creek Park

Field 1 - Lighted artificial turf | 112 x 65 yards | Permanent soccer lines | Located on the right side when entering the complex near the comfort station. This field is reserved under a long-term lease agreement, so availability for rentals and free play is limited.

Mills School Park

Mills School Park These three fields are located on Wake County Public Schools property and are unavailable for public use from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday when school is in session. For rental information for Fields 1 and 2, visit Rates and Fees.

Field 1 - Lighted natural grass | 120 x 60 yards | Located behind Mills Park Middle School, inside the track.
Field 2 - Lighted artificial turf | 119 x 67 yards | Permanent soccer and lacrosse lines (men's and women's) | Located behind Mills Park Middle School. This field is reserved under a long-term lease agreement, so availability for rentals and free play is limited.
Field 3 - Non-lighted natural grass | Approximately 70 x 40 yards | Located behind Mills Park Elementary School. This field is not available for reservation.
