Compost Workshops | Sept 4–7

Curious about compost? Join us for a hands-on program to learn about recycling food waste into healthy soil! Discover what goes in a backyard bin, take a deep dive into the composting process, and get tips for using finished compost in your garden. Classes take place outdoors at Good Hope Farm and participants will receive a bagged compost sample and other helpful resources. Registration required.

Shredding Paper

Did you know you can bring our old documents and papers for shredding and recycling any day of the week at a Town facility? Cary has installed shredding consoles at six Town facilities for the collection and safe disposal of old papers, bills, account statements, and other sensitive documents (no magazines, books, electronics, or commercial interests are accepted).

Please note that shredded paper is NOT accepted in curbside pickup recycling bins.
