Account Creation
1. To create an account for your family/household, go to Create New Household.
2. To create an account for an organization or business, go to Create New Organization.
3. Complete all required fields, and click Continue. A six digit code will be sent to your email. You'll be required to enter this code and click Verify Code.
4. Once you have verified this code, an email will be sent to you from CARY NC. You'll then be able to use the site freely.
Please note you must be 18 or older to create an account.
This means you have an account, but have not completed the setup and email verification. Please email or call 311, or use the Contact Us tab in RecTrac and we will send you an invitation to complete your setup.
No. Every member of your residential household should be added to a single account. The Household Primary Person must be an adult at least 18 years old. A second adult on the account can be listed as a Secondary Guardian. All others, including all children, should be listed as Other.
Add Additional Family Member and select Other for relationship. Be sure to enter birth dates correctly.
Yes. All adults who plan to access the account should have their own login and password. If they are not yet on your account, go to Household Account Management, click Household and Member Update, and add them as an Additional Family Member. If they are already on your account, select the Invite button, and they will receive an email invitation to create their login and password. Anyone listed as an Account Manager will have access to transactions on the account.
Yes! You need to open the email to verify your address and complete the account set up. You can subscribe to receive notifications and communications about your RecTrac account to be sent to that email address. These notifications could include upcoming registration dates, reminders of an upcoming class, notification of a cancelled class, etc. You can always modify receipt of these in the future.
Check your Spam/ Junk folder for an email from Cary, NC. This invitation link expires within 24 hours. If your link expired, please email or call 311, or use the Contact Us tab in RecTrac, and we will send you a new link.
This email allows you to establish a username and password for an account we, or another family member, has created for you. When you get this, please click “finish setting up your account” and choose your username and password (see password rules below).
A Secondary Guardian is another adult in your household, often used for a spouse or domestic partner of the Household Primary Person. They can be contacted regarding account registrations and transactions and make changes to the account. A Secondary Guardian can set up their own account login.
Visit the Login Screen and click Forgot Username? or Forgot Password? A reset email will be sent to you. Your username is a unique name you set up at the time you created the account.
Your Username should be something you can remember. There are no minimum characters or restrictions (except for less than 50 characters).
Your Password does have some parameters to ensure your security. Password Must be at least 8 characters, and include 1 Lower Case, 1 Upper Case, and 1 number.

The following characters are NOT allowed in your Password = , < > ; : ' " \
Login to your account and go to Household Account Management to make changes. You cannot change birthdates. Contact us and provide the name of the person you need to correct along with the correct birthdate, and we will correct it for you. You also cannot make residency status changes.
For either birthdate or residency updates, please email or call 311, or use the Contact Us tab in RecTrac.
Just login, click on your name, and visit My Profile and make any changes. If you encounter any issues, please email or call 311, or use the Contact Us tab in RecTrac.
If you unsuccessfully tried to log in 5 times, the system will lock you out of your account for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes have passed, please use the Forgot Username/ Forgot Password functions to reset.
At present, you are unable to save a credit card within your RecTrac account. This is for security reasons. You can utilize your browser Credit Card options available on Google Chrome or iWallet.
Sure! We recommend adding a shortcut for our website to your phone if you will log in frequently!
Android:
- Open Chrome, navigate to https://nccaryweb.myvscloud.com/webtrac/web
- Tap on the three dots at the top right of Browser, Select Add to Home Screen
- Save your username and password to Google Chrome if desired.
iPhone:
- Open Safari or desired browser, navigate to https://nccaryweb.myvscloud.com/webtrac/web
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen:
- Scroll down in the Share menu and Select Add to Home Screen
- Save your username and password to Safari if desired.
This information is not required, but we would appreciate it if you did add one in for reference in the case of an emergency.
All activities, passes, and rentals have age criteria. To rent facilities, you need to be 21 or older. Without your birthdate we cannot verify if you (or your child) are eligible for specific programs.
Begin typing in your home address and it should autopopulate if you live within Cary. Do not allow your device to use the "autofill" function, which disables residency verification. If your address does not populate in the drop-down and you believe it is in error, or if you accidentally used autofill and you were set as non-resident, please email or call 311, or use the Contact Us tab in RecTrac.
Note: Cary residency is determined by whether a portion of your residence’s tax bill are allocated to Cary.
No, for security reasons, RecTrac will not work outside the USA.
