ADA Transition Plan

The Town of Cary is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals have equitable access to its programs and services. Although Cary’s facilities have been designed, constructed, or renovated in compliance with applicable federal and state accessibility standards, the Town retained consultants in 2015 and 2022 to conduct comprehensive assessments of all facilities and sites. These assessments inform and maintain the development of Cary’s ADA Transition Plan, which outlines and prioritizes the removal of accessible barriers.

ADA Grievance

Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that public entities adopt and publish grievance procedures to assure the prompt and equitable resolution of complaints. The purpose of the ADA grievance procedure is to resolve as promptly as possible any problems, complaints, or conflicts related to the Cary’s ADA compliance without the need for the complainant to resort to other remedies available under the law.

If a grievant believes they have been discriminated against on the basis of a disability, the grievant should go to the Grievance Procedure page for more information. Cary's fillable ADA Grievance form can be found here.
