A Budget Open House was held at the Cary Senior Center on April 7, 2026. As part of the FY27 budget development process, Cary staff invited all residents to share their priorities for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2026. No RSVP or registration was required. Everyone was welcome!
Details:
- Residents were able to share what matters most to them as the Town develops the upcoming budget.
- Residents learned how funds are allocated and how tax dollars support services across Cary.
- Residents spoke directly with staff: They asked questions one-on-one with the departments that deliver Town services.
- There were department booths: Residents visited staffed tables to learn about services funded by your taxes and fees.
- Budget presentations were given on repeat throughout the event.
The event was live-streamed on Town social channels, carync.tv, and Cary TV Spectrum channel 11. You can also provide feedback on the budget year-round. Visit carync.gov/budgetinput for more.
