Cary’s FY27 budget is being built right now — and your input matters! Join us to learn how the Town’s budget works, ask questions, and share your priorities for the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2026. Bring a friend or neighbor. Everyone is welcome!

  • No RSVP or registration is required

Why attend

  • Help shape the budget: Share what matters most to you as the Town develops the upcoming budget.
  • See how decisions are made: Learn how funds are allocated and how tax dollars support services across Cary.
  • Talk directly with staff: Ask questions one-on-one with the departments that deliver Town services.
  • Easy to participate: This is a come-and-go event—stop by when it’s convenient.

What to expect

  • Department booths: Visit staffed tables to learn about services funded by your taxes and fees.
  • Budget presentation (repeats throughout the event): Catch it whenever you arrive—you won’t miss out.
  • Share your priorities: Tell us what you want to see addressed as the Town plans for the next fiscal year.

Can’t attend in person?

You can still follow along! The event will be live-streamed on Town social channels, carync.tv, and Cary TV Spectrum channel 11. You can also provide feedback on the budget year-round. Visit carync.gov/budgetinput for more.
