Where: Downtown Cary – South Academy St. from Dry Ave to E. Park Street

What: The Cary Police Department is hosting Public Safety Day, a lively event featuring free activities, local agency showcases, interactive attractions, and delicious food trucks along S. Academy Street in downtown Cary. Meet the dedicated teams from Cary Police and Fire, and engage with representatives from EMS, WakeMed, and other local organizations working to keep our neighborhoods safe and strong.

Parking and Street Closures

South Academy Street will be closed between Dry Avenue and E. Park Street from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, September 5, for the event. Detours will be posted.

Attendees are encouraged to park in the Academy Street or Cedar Street parking decks.

Parking is also available at the Cary Town Hall campus and throughout Downtown Cary.
